Ah, it's that magical time of year again--where I get even more sleep-deprived than usual, and my husband cannot get a turn on the computer. Yup, the SSA has released the 2012 baby name data.

This year, I'm saving myself the trouble and skipping right to the names ranked #2500 & above. Girls first!(because, let's face it, they're more trend-driven)

Wow! Some really great names in there! And some...not so much. And for the second year in a row, Hattie is one of the fastest risers. Definitely one to keep an eye on.

However, the biggest jumps of all didn't even make it into my program, and I almost missed them. But really, who expects names to jump 4000ish places?!?
